Terms of Service

Article 1 (Application)

These Terms of Service set forth the conditions for using NotionLauncher (hereinafter referred to as "the Service"). Users shall use the Service upon agreeing to these Terms.

Article 2 (Registration)

Registration for the Service is conducted through Notion OAuth authentication. Registration is considered complete when a user completes authentication with their Notion account.

Article 3 (Service Description)

The Service is a desktop application for macOS that provides the following features:

  • Creating quick notes and saving them to Notion
  • Capturing text highlights and saving them to Notion
  • Capturing screenshots and saving them to Notion
  • Saving images to Notion via drag and drop
  • Saving web page URLs as bookmarks
  • Searching Notion workspaces

Article 4 (Third-Party Service Integration)

The Service integrates with the Notion API and OAuth authentication. The following provisions apply regarding third-party service integration:

  • Users are responsible for complying with Notion's terms of service and policies
  • Some features of the Service may become unavailable due to changes or suspension of the Notion API
  • Users may disconnect the integration with Notion at any time
  • Upon disconnection, authentication credentials (access tokens) stored by the Service will be invalidated

Article 5 (Subscription and Pricing)

The Service offers the following plans:

  • Free plan: Up to 30 saves per month, 1 Notion database (free)
  • Plus plan: Unlimited saves, multiple Notion databases (paid)

Plus plan pricing is as follows (tax included):

  • Monthly: $3 USD (300 JPY / 3,000 KRW)
  • Yearly: $30 USD (3,000 JPY / 30,000 KRW)

Subscriptions are automatically renewed. Users may cancel their subscription at any time, and will continue to have access to Plus plan features until the end of the current billing period.

Article 6 (Prohibited Activities)

Users shall not engage in the following activities when using the Service:

  • Activities that violate laws or public order and morals
  • Activities related to criminal acts
  • Activities that interfere with the operation of the Service
  • Activities that cause inconvenience to other users
  • Unauthorized access or attempts thereof
  • Unauthorized use of the Service's API
  • Reverse engineering, decompilation, or disassembly
  • Activities that violate the Notion API terms of service

Article 7 (Modification and Suspension of Service)

We may modify or suspend the Service without prior notice to users.

Article 8 (Disclaimer)

We shall not be liable for any damages incurred by users arising from the Service. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Damages caused by Notion API failures or specification changes
  • Damages caused by loss or corruption of saved data
  • Damages caused by application defects
  • Damages caused by internet connection issues

Article 9 (Account Deletion)

Users may request account deletion at any time. Upon account deletion, stored data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. To request account deletion, please contact hello@notionlauncher.app.

Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court.
